I am a researcher and scientific manager in R&D&I in plant biotechnology and environmental microbiology, with over twenty years of experience integrating interdisciplinary science, territory, and productive systems. My work focuses on complex symbiotic systems—organisms, their microbiomes, and the environment—and how their functioning is expressed at the landscape scale under climate change and habitat fragmentation. My research is framed within Landscape-Scale Functional Symbiosis Biology, operationalized through the Functional Landscape Symbiosis Framework (FLSF), which integrates landscape ecology, holobiont theory, and host genetic variation to support decision-making in biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, and sustainable productive systems.
